Getting traffic to your blog is one of the main struggles when you are just starting out. Sometimes it’s a continual struggle throughout your blogging journey. This post is all about how to explode your blog traffic.
I know that I’ve had a rough time with getting traffic to my blog and many others have also. Even established blogs sometimes experience dips in traffic. It happens to everyone so don’t stress too much about it.
So whether you’re a beginner blogger or have been blogging for a while these tips will help you out. Let’s dive in!

Join Facebook Groups
There are tons of Facebook groups out there and they are free to join. I recommend joining 5 blogging groups to start. You don’t want to overwhelm yourself.
I still use Facebook groups to explode my blog traffic. Many of them have daily threads you can join. These include blog post comments, blog post shares, and social media follows. Just make sure you follow the group rules so you don’t get kicked out.
Another great thing about Facebook groups is that you can interact with other bloggers and help them on their journeys. If you have questions or need advice these groups are perfect for reaching out.
Here are just a few of my favorite Facebook Groups:
Promote On Social Media
Using social media is a great way to get free traffic to your blog. There are billions of people on social media each day. If you aren’t using social media then you need to start yesterday!
There are so many platforms you can use to explode your blog traffic. I use Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook. I recommend starting with one platform until you feel comfortable enough to add another. Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed.
It’s important to get your content out there for others to see. You never know who you can help and who’s looking for what you have. Everyone has something to offer!
When you network with other bloggers some opportunities might become available like guest posting. Guest posting is writing content for another blog. This helps get you in front of a different audience which in turn can help explode your blog traffic.
What if you could have a piece of your content on your favorite blogger’s website? What would that do for your traffic? Many bloggers have guest post opportunities. Go find one today!
Interact With Other Bloggers’ Work
Sharing the love in blogging is super important. It allows you to build relationships with other bloggers. It doesn’t take much time to leave a meaningful comment on another blog post.
When leaving comments make sure you include your website link if possible. If others like your comment they can click on your name and be taken to your blog. I always try to leave a comment with at least 3 sentences instead of a generic comment.
*Pro Tip: For an extra boost to blog traffic add your blog name to the name field in your comment. Here’s an example: Krista | That Dreamer Life. I put the line between my name and my blog name to make it look nicer. Having your blog name visible will peak other’s curiosity.
Creating freebies is another way to explode your blog traffic. Then when posting on social media mention your freebie. Everyone loves free things.
Using Canva is great for creating freebies. I use it for my freebies and I love it. Make sure your freebie provides a ton of value.
Having freebies also helps with building your email list. How many times have you given your email for something free? It’s too many to count for me.
So those are some genius ways to explode your blog traffic. There are so many different ways out there. Get creative. Find what works for you.
Getting traffic to your blog can be difficult. When you have some strategies you want to try make sure to be consistent with them. Sometimes that can be even more difficult.
